Full-screen viewing is not available yet. This prototype has passed simulated tests, but capture and control still need testing on a physical Samsung TV.

START WITH THE BRIDGE
Find your TV. Try the controls.
- Unzip the test kit on your Windows computer. Open Start Remote Ranger Samsung Test.vbs. The backend starts quietly and opens its local test page.
- Turn on your Samsung TV. Connect the TV and computer to the same local network, then select Find my TV. You can enter the TV’s local IP address if discovery cannot find it.
- Approve Remote Ranger on the TV. Test directions, OK, Home, Back, TV Menu and volume. The page shows the connection status and TV ping. Use Disconnect to end the session.
TV-SIDE CAPTURE TEST
Developer mode comes next.
The included Samsung TV widgets are unsigned. They must be signed for your TV before installation. The kit targets testing on Tizen 8, 9 and 10; compatibility remains unverified.
Use Tizen Studio with Samsung’s TV and Certificate extensions. Add your TV’s device ID to a Samsung distributor certificate, then follow the included signing instructions. The partner test requires a matching partner-level certificate.
A captured picture of the test app alone does not prove that the TV’s Home screen, Settings or other apps can be shared. The test reports what the TV actually permits.

This kit uses its own local test page. It does not yet connect through the main Remote Ranger viewer or its nine-digit codes. The Android, Google TV and Fire TV downloads keep their existing connection process.
