WIRED WEST REMOTE RANGER FOR WINDOWS — 0.1.9 Extract the ZIP, keep the entire Remote-Ranger-Windows folder together, and open Remote Ranger.exe. Windows x64; .NET and Node are included. Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is required. This is an unsigned test build. Google TV: install Remote-Ranger-0.7.9-tv-test.apk on the TV, enable Remote Ranger Accessibility control, choose Show my connection code, and approve screen sharing. In Windows choose Google TV / Fire TV, enter the nine digits, and connect. Controller access requires your existing private helper key; no controller keys or paired-device credentials are included in this download. The floating Google TV handset replaces the square menu pad for Google TVs. Drag it by the centered Drag remote label. It includes arrows, OK, Back, Home, YouTube, Netflix, Mute, and Volume down/up. App launch buttons require the corresponding TV app. Unsupported advertised controls stay disabled. Volume/mute use the TV's configured Android audio route: HDMI-CEC or digital volume must support control. They cannot transmit your physical remote's IR. Full screen (F11) keeps the handset and yellow outlined performance text above the picture. Escape exits full screen. The HUD shows device, FPS, response time, zoom and connection route. Picture clicks target accessible items on supported TVs; the wheel moves through menus. Protected content can remain black. Sharing sends no audio and does not record. Android phones use the phone connection. Nearby Roku/Samsung controls and Roku connection codes remain available. Roku full-screen capture remains unavailable; Samsung is experimental. Disconnect or close ends the session. All sessions still require owner approval; Internet sessions require wwadair.com. Tested on Kitchen Chromecast HD: Home, YouTube and Netflix launch, screen sharing, and fullscreen handset/HUD. Mute and both volume commands reached Android; physical sound changes were not verified because that device's HDMI volume control was disabled. Firmware support varies by device.
